Purdue Baseball Upends Louisville

The 19th-ranked Purdue baseball team topped 15th-ranked Louisville 2-1 in the Boilers home opener.

Stephen Talbott hit a walk off single in the bottom of the tenth inning to give Purdue its 17th win on the season.

Connor Podkul and Blake Mascarello combined to give up just five hits and one run for the Boilers.

Mascarello earned the win to improve to 5-1 on the year.

Purdue is back on the diamond Wednesday afternoon against IPFW.

Game time is at 4 p.m.
