Boudia dives his way to London Olympics

A former Purdue athlete is going to the Olympics.

Diver David Boudia qualified for the London games in the 10-meter synchronized competition at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials.

He and his partner Nick McCrory won the event.

This will be Boudia’s second Olympics.  He competed in Beijing four years ago in the 10-meter platform individual and synchronized.

He dove at Purdue for three years winning three NCAA Diver of the Year Awards, three Big Ten Diver of the Year Awards, and six NCAA Championship Titles.
