YWCA of Greater Lafayette hires new executive director
The YWCA of Greater Lafayette has a new executive director. The board hired Debi DeBruyn for the job.
The West Lafayette resident has a long history with the organization, dating back to her involvement in the Y-Teen program.
She’s spent the past 7 years as Area IV Head Start Director, which serves Carroll, Clinton and White counties.
DeBruyn is a Purdue graduate with a master’s degree in counseling and personnel services.
YWCA Board President David Huhnke says the organization is excited to have her lead its staff and operations.
"Debi brings the expertise and experience we need at this time to move the YWCA forward. I encourage the Greater Lafayette community and the YWCA extended family to lend their support and resources to her in order to accomplish the mission of the YWCA."
