Global Ministries Mission Dash 5K
The second annual event benefits Global Ministries, a faith-based organization of the Disciples of Christ and United Church of Christ. It supports more than 200 churches, nonprofits and non-denominational groups in projects expanding access to education, health care, clean water and HIV and AIDS care in nearly 90 countries.
The route begins and ends at the church and winds through the city's west side neighborhoods to Wabash College.
Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers and breakfast will be served at the church following the race.
