Self-Guided Tours of the Haan Museum

Self-Guided Tours of the Haan Museum

The Haan Museum is home to an impressive collection of artwork by historic and contemporary Indiana artists, as well as antique American furniture. It's all displayed in a historic Classic Revival mansion that was originally constructed for the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis. We are open for self-guided tours every Wednesday-Saturday from 1-4pm. Advance registration is not required. Simply ring the front doorbell, and you'll be greeted by a highly trained volunteer docent who will welcome you inside and provide a brief overview of the museum's fascinating history. You can then explore the two-story mansion at your own pace, taking in the artwork, architecture, and antiques. Before you go, be sure to stroll through the beautifully maintained sculpture garden behind the museum. It features 25 sculptures by Indiana artists, along a winding trail surrounded by native Indiana plants and flowers. Check our website for the most up-to-date operating hours and policies.
