Open Meeting 7:00-7:45pm, Telescope Fair 8:00-10:00pm
Join us for our annual Telescope Fair at the West Lafayette Observatory, 600 Cumberland, West Lafayette, IN. Instead of our regular open house, we will have a special presentation tailored to people considering purchasing a telescope. We won't be selling telescopes, but we will talk about factors to consider when shopping and will have various types of scopes on display. Before that, our open meeting includes astronomy news, new toys, and a brief presentation, "Astronomical Superstitions, Scams and Pseudoscience".
