Purdue's Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences will host Indiana's first-ever National Stuttering Association (NSA) 1- Day Conference. The event will bring together people who stutter, their families, and speech-language pathologists for a day dedicated to learning, connection, and empowerment. The conference will feature workshops for kids and teens who stutter, adults who stutter, parents and family members, and speech-language pathologists. Registration is now open for this event which promises to be a full day of sharing and connecting with those who understand the stuttering experience.

Nine Irish Brothers Traditional Irish Pub hosts a community trad session Wednesday evenings at seven pm. Trad sessions--short for traditional Irish sessions, are a community-led participatory event in which local musicians bring their instruments and play traditional Irish music. Musicians who play Irish instruments or who are striving to learn are welcome to join in, and all members of the community are welcome to enjoy the music and ambiance.
