Purdue’s Global Policy Research Institute will have a new director next year.
The university is seeking applications and nominations for the position.
Arden Bement is the current director. He says he will stay involved with the Institute as a member of its External Advisory Council. Bement also retains his tenure with the School of Nuclear Engineering.
The new leader must be eligible for a tenured faculty position, a track record of building programs and experience in public policy.
The search committee will begin reviewing candidates in November with a goal of having someone begin work in January.
