Life-long educator to oversee new Ivy Tech-Frankfort facility

The new Ivy Tech center planned for Frankfort has someone to guide the facility and students.

The community college announced Susie Trees as site director. She joined Ivy Tech in 2007 and has coordinated dual credit programs with area high schools.

Prior to coming to Ivy Tech, Trees was a Frankfort High School teacher for 21 years and coordinated Clinton County’s first community learning center. She has a bachelor’s degree in home economics and a master’s degree in education.

Ivy Tech’s downtown Frankfort site will primarily serve students from Clinton and Boone counties. It’s expected to open next fall and offer about 30 courses.
