Democrat John Dale is in his 24th year teaching at Western Boone High School.
He graduated from Harrison High School and Wabash College.
Dale is the second Democrat to announce intentions to vie for the Fourth District congressional seat.
Tara Nelson was the party’s nominee in 2012 and is making a second run for office.
