The Tippecanoe County Council has approved a tax abatement that will help a White County company relocate to Tippecanoe County.
Jessup Paper Box is currently housed in several buildings in Brookston.
A ten-year, one-point-six-million dollar tax abatement will help the company purchase land near the intersection of Veteran's Memorial Parkway and U-S 52 to bring the entire operation under one roof.
Commissioners will vote on the abatement next week.
Jessup Paper Box was established in 1959.
It manufactures two piece boxes, slip cases, game-boards, and puzzles.
