Young people throughout Greater Lafayette have the chance to learn more about running a business.
The fourth annual Lemonade Day is set for Saturday, May 17th.
It is organized by Greater Lafayette Commerce and open to young people from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.
Public parks in Lafayette and West Lafayette are available for young people to set up their stands.
Each child who registers receives a backpack with an Entrepreneur Workbook that teaches skills such as how to create a budget, serve customers, and repay investors.
Participants are encouraged to spend some of the money they make, save some and give some to charity.
