  • Hi there! My name’s Lauren McAdams, I’m a junior at Purdue studying Mass Communication. I’m a show host Intern at WBAA, currently hosting Weekend Edition for our listening area. News is my passion so I’m glad I can share it with you! I grew up listening to NPR in the car on road trips, and remember dreaming of being a show host on the radio one day. My focus here at Purdue is centered around producing, all things broadcast news and the student run radio station I started up my freshman year. I’ve always had a passion for live radio and channeled that interest by starting up an official student radio station sponsored by the Lamb School. I’ve loved the opportunities I’ve been given here at WBAA and cannot wait to grow further in my knowledge and experiences!
