Twenty-five new Boilermakers are joining the Purdue football team.
Most of the group of high school seniors and junior college transfers signed their national letters of intent Wednesday to play in West Lafayette.
Part of the recruiting class includes Lafayette Central Catholic senior Danny Anthrop who helped lead the local school to a pair of state championships.
Six of the new Boilers come from Florida and three are from Texas.
Purdue starts the season September 1st at home against Eastern Kentucky.
