Alain de Botton, a devout atheist, looks at religion from a different angle, acknowledging its role in people's life and how it helps answer the difficult questions of morality. While not a prescriptive account or one that is always easy to swallow, Religion for Atheists somehow bridges the gap between two extremes, outlining the best aspects of each for readers to take away.
