58 Confirmed COVID-19 Cases In Tippecanoe County; 569 Deaths Statewide

Tippecanoe County’s confirmed COVID-19 case count rose to 58 Monday, and the Indiana State Department of Health announced 505 new cases statewide for a total of 11,686. 

ISDH also reported 569 Hoosier deaths from the novel coronavirus in its daily update. 

On Monday, Tippecanoe County ranked 34th out of Indiana’s 92 counties in total confirmed COVID-19 cases. Marion County’s caseload remains the highest, with 4,052 confirmed cases and 192 deaths as the week began. 

Tippecanoe County’s COVID-19 test totals stood at 1,293, while reported statewide tests totaled 64,639. 

Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb extended the state’s stay-at-home order through May 1, and has announced his intent to start planning now for the re-opening of Indiana’s closed businesses.
