The Lafayette-West Lafayette Convention and Visitors Bureau has changed its name. The group is now Visit Lafayette-West Lafayette.
President Jo Wade says substituting the longer name with the word “visit” is an industry trend. She says it’s shorter, simpler and an easier to understand word for what their mission is.
The new Visit Lafayette-West Lafayette logo is on the group’s website, which will remain www.homeofpurdue.com.
Wade says brochures and signage will be updated over the next few months with the Visit Lafayette-West Lafayette name.
