The West Lafayette Fire Department has officially moved into its newest fire station.
The structure is located on Kalberer Road near Salisbury Street.
Firefighters had been working out of a converted Parks and Recreation barn in Cumberland Park since 2007.
They moved into Fire Station number-three this past Sunday.
Fire chief Tim Heath says they have already made several runs out of the new facility.
The Parks and Rec department will be moving back into the barn in Cumberland Park, following some renovations.
