The old Aretz Airport property has been rezoned from Residential and Agricultural to General Business.
Tippecanoe County Commissioners approved the change yesterday.
Officials say the new designation more accurately reflects the types of enterprises they hope to see at the location, including hotels, restaurants, and gas stations.
The nearly 11-acre site is northeast of the intersection of State Road 25 and Interstate 65.
