Families United for Kids' Health

A local health care provider is developing classes to help combat childhood obesity. Dietitians from Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health will lead the Families United for Kids’ Health program.

Registered Dietician Renee Tilt is organizing the effort. She says it is open to families with children between the ages of five and ten who are overweight or obese.

Tilt believes involving parents and caregivers will increase the likelihood of success. They will cover nutrition, physical activity, and behavior changes.

The hour-long class will be held weekly beginning February 7th. More information about the program is HERE.
