Tippecanoe County’s COVID-19 case total stood at 248 Tuesday, and the Indiana State Department of Health announced 1,444 deaths statewide in its daily update.
ISDH also reported566 new novel coronavirus cases in Indiana, for a total of 25,127.
The Montgomery County Health Department also released more detailed information Tuesday about COVID-19 cases and deaths at six long-term care facilities. All six of the county’s COVID-19 deaths and 47 positive cases have been reported at Ben Hur Health and Rehabilitation, where an initial outbreak of 14 cases was announced at the end of April. No novel coronavirus cases or deaths were reported for the other five facilities.
ISDH reported 144 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Montgomery County Tuesday.
