As tower maintenance and upgrade work continues, WBAA-FM 101.3 & 105.9 are planned to be off the air intermittently Fri and Sat, Sept 5 and 6. The maintenance project is almost complete, but there are still to be determined off air times needed for WBAA AM in the coming weeks.

You can still listen to WBAA News at wbaa.org, or on the WBAA app. Thanks for your patience during this essential work.

Ask The Mayor: Lafayette's Tony Roswarski

City of Lafayette
/
http://lafayette.in.gov/

Lafayette residents will soon be getting new smaller containers for their garbage and using the current larger toters for their recycling. The message is clear-- recycle more than you put in area landfills. But is a bigger container all it takes to get people to recycle?

We also take a closer look at the decision by the Lafayette Police Department not to have its officers carry Narcan, the drug used to stop a heroin overdose. West Lafayette police and the Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Department are both in the process of implementing Narcan programs. Is Mayor Roswarski comfortable with the LPD's decision not to?
