Nine Irish Brothers Traditional Irish Pub hosts a community trad session Wednesday evenings at seven pm. Trad sessions--short for traditional Irish sessions, are a community-led participatory event in which local musicians bring their instruments and play traditional Irish music. Musicians who play Irish instruments or who are striving to learn are welcome to join in, and all members of the community are welcome to enjoy the music and ambiance.

Together, these exhibitions explore the many paths of the human experience including life’s unexpected detours through paintings, sculpture, and fiber art. The After School Arts Program (ASAP) offers free art classes to students in grades K-12. Covering the full spectrum of creative disciplines ASAP aims to make a meaningful difference in the lives of youth in our community, reinforce academics, improve self-esteem, and inspire creativity. Appliances, bikes, electronics, tools, lawn and garden equipment, furniture, and toys, are just a few of the items we can help repair. Before you throw it away, bring it to us! Practice the art of drawing from observation in this hands-on still life drawing class! Each class will feature a new arrangement of objects for students to observe and interpret through drawing. You’ll explore composition, proportion, light, value, and different drawing techniques while building confidence in your observational skills.

This class is open to adults, as well as students in Grades 10–12, and is
welcoming to artists of varying experience levels. The class will primarily use
vine charcoal, with pencils also available for those who prefer working in graphite. Students with previous still life drawing experience are welcome to bring their own preferred drawing materials.
