18 Confirmed COVID-19 Cases In Tippecanoe County; 65 Deaths Reported Statewide

Tippecanoe County’s confirmed novel coronavirus cases rose to 18 Wednesday, while statewide case numbers rose to 2,565. 

The Indiana State Department of Health also reported 65 Hoosier deaths from COVID-19 in their daily update.  On Tuesday, the Fountain-Warren County Health Department reported the deaths of two Warren County residents. One Tippecanoe County resident has died after being diagnosed with COVID-19. 

Marion County leads the state in confirmed novel coronavirus cases, with 1,117 cases announced Wednesday. Lake County follows with 180 cases, and Hamilton County immediately after with 179. 

As of Wednesday morning, only nine of Indiana’s 92 counties did not have reported cases on the ISDH map

Indiana’s stay-at-home order, issued by Gov. Eric Holcomb to slow the spread of the coronavirus, is currently in place through April 6.
