A Renaissance romp about Nicholas Bottom and his new not-so-hit concept of a "musical," this 2015 Broadway musical is sure to please our audiences. Funny with a ton of heart, SOMETHING ROTTEN! packs a punch with a message that will make you laugh and cry. This is a bucket list show for several of our returning company members, and we're chomping at the bit to get started! Nine Irish Brothers Traditional Irish Pub hosts a community trad session Wednesday evenings at seven pm. Trad sessions--short for traditional Irish sessions, are a community-led participatory event in which local musicians bring their instruments and play traditional Irish music. Musicians who play Irish instruments or who are striving to learn are welcome to join in, and all members of the community are welcome to enjoy the music and ambiance.

A free event offering repair services and advice. Don't replace it, repair it! At the Northend Community Center. Bring your broken items and get instant help. Appliances, bikes, electronics, tools, lawn and garden equipment, furniture, and toys, are just a few of the items we can help repair. Before you throw it away, bring it to us! First Saturday of every month, 10am-noon.

WHO: All are welcome! No experience or partner needed.
WHAT: Learn dances led by a caller, dancing to live music with a group of people!
WHERE: 333 Meridian Street in West Lafayette - enter through the playground gate
WHEN: Second Saturday of the month at 5:30PM for beginner lesson, dance from 6-8PM
WHY: It's good for your mental health--let's build community!
HOW: Dances are made possible through sponsorship from Indiana Fiddlers Gathering and participants who give what they can ($5-20) to support our caller and band.

What is Contra Dance?
Contra dance is a form of folk dancing made up of long lines of couples. A caller leads the dance, teaching the steps and calling out moves. It's great fun for all ages.
Unlike some other social dances, contra is a group activity. Over the course of each dance, you interact with everyone in your contra line. Your partner is like a teammate, moving with you up and down the line.
