Nine Irish Brothers hosts traditional Irish music sessions every Wednesday evening. Sessions are an opportunity for local musicians to join together for fellowship and to play traditional Irish music, and for listeners to enjoy. To make a reservation, call Nine Irish Brothers at (765) 746-4782.
During this free event, you’ll enjoy readings of short comedies, dramas, and fantasy plays – 10 minutes or so apiece – written by local writers in the Greater Lafayette Playwrights group.
The Electric Amish are a parody rock band based in Indiana that hilariously reimagine classic rock songs through an Amish lens. Much of the humor in their lyrics presupposes at least a passing understanding of Amish and Mennonite cultures. They are a mash-up of barnyard charm and arena rock swagger.
