Jan 20 Tuesday
Join WBAA and WFYI for a special pre-screening of the brand-new PBS Kids show Phoebe & Jay on January 20 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at West Lafayette Public Library. Premiering February 2, the show follows the adventures of 6-year-old fraternal twins Phoebe and Jay Yarber, who live with their family in the fantastical Tobsy Towers.
Phoebe & Jay showcases the various kinds of texts kids see in their everyday lives − from signs and posters to labels and movie tickets, helping them understand, navigate and participate in the world around them. Aimed at children 3 to 5 years old, attendees will enjoy a look at the first episode of the new show and will complete activities that complement the series.
The screening is free to attend, no pre-registration necessary.
