The Circle City Deacons are back for a night of moving, shaking, and skankin! The Indianapolis ska veterans are returning to Lafayette to bring the soul, the rocksteady AND the ska! So be sure to bring your dancing shoes and a partner. You won’t want to miss this show!

Since 2011, The Circle City Deacons have played with national and regional acts such as The Pinstripes, Blacklist Royals, The Toasters and Green Room Rockers, just to name a few. Musically, Craig Gorsline lays the groundwork for the band's sound with his gravely vocals laid over his smooth organ playing. Coupled with an adroit rhythm section, the melodious horns form a fantastic sound that melds past, present and future. The island sounds of Peter Tosh and Toots and the Maytals are apparent in the Deacons' tunes as are the revivalist sounds of The Slackers and The Toasters.

Enjoy a creative night out with delicious pizza and guided painting fun! Perfect for all skill levels, this class combines tasty bites with artistic expression in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.

Come join us at The Haan for a murder mystery themed game night! Clue games, of varying editions, will be set up throughout the mansion. Dress fancy (or don’t), grab some snacks, & choose your favorite room to play in! Bring a friend or group to claim a game with, or come alone & mingle with other solo players until you find someone you think you’d like to throw murder allegations at!

Actual game-play will begin at 7PM, for the fashionably late. 🙂

You are welcome to come anytime between 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM.

This is open to the community.

Come to the gravel lot in the back of the church.

Expect good conversations, fun and food.

It is BYOC, bring your own chair.

Mic Harrison (Superdrag, V-Roys) pays us a visit with Matt Woods Tuesday November 11th. The pair are touring together to promote Mic's new album Peach Blossom Youth!

Although he started writing songs while still in high school, Mic Harrison was truly able to formulate his interest and intent once he moved to Knoxville, Tennessee in the 1990s. It was there that he joined The V-Roys, pioneers in early Americana realms. Among its own dutiful distinctions was the fact that for a time they served as the backing band for Steve Earle. Mic later served a stint with power pop provocateurs Superdrag before embarking on a solo career courtesy of Pallbearer’s Shoes. His tenure with The High Score has been ongoing since the beginning of the new millennium and their combined input and interaction grows stronger with each new effort.

Over their history, Ha Ha Tonka has recorded 5 critically acclaimed albums, toured the world, played Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits, appeared on late-night TV on CONAN as well as on Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations. Through it all, these Ozarks natives have made friends, found love, started families, and grown and matured together. During the pandemic, the band finished their 6th studio album!
