The Lafayette Dulcimer Gathering will play at Cumberland Park every Tuesday evening from 7pm to 8:30pm in June, July and August All acoustic instrument musicians are welcome to join the jam and play along or, just bring a lawn chair and enjoy the music! Song sheets will be available.

Lafayette Fun Squares (LFS) is a local square dance club. We do mainstream and plus dancing, line dancing and round dancing. We meet the first Friday monthly except June, July, and August. Lessons will begin in September. You do not need a partner for dances or lessons; we will pair you up with a teacher.

Happiness blooms before your eyes and in your heart at Johnson County’s Garden Celebration May 2 at the fairgrounds in Franklin. Gates open at 9 a.m., and festivities continue until 3 p.m. Buy annuals, perennials and vegetables, popular and unique plants, garden art, and cottage-farm products. Pick up some free seeds and tree seedlings while supplies last. Adults and children alike will be wowed with an up-close-and-personal, live wildlife rehabilitation presentation. More than 85 vendors plus Master Gardeners, Purdue Extension Service, food trucks and more. Still just $2 per person (CASH admission only, children 12 and under free) with free parking.
