Nine Irish Brothers Traditional Irish Pub hosts a community trad session Wednesday evenings at seven pm. Trad sessions--short for traditional Irish sessions, are a community-led participatory event in which local musicians bring their instruments and play traditional Irish music. Musicians who play Irish instruments or who are striving to learn are welcome to join in, and all members of the community are welcome to enjoy the music and ambiance.

Practice the art of drawing from observation in this hands-on still life drawing class! Each class will feature a new arrangement of objects for students to observe and interpret through drawing. You’ll explore composition, proportion, light, value, and different drawing techniques while building confidence in your observational skills.
This class is open to adults, as well as students in Grades 10–12, and iswelcoming to artists of varying experience levels. The class will primarily usevine charcoal, with pencils also available for those who prefer working in graphite. Students with previous still life drawing experience are welcome to bring their own preferred drawing materials.

A caller leads the dance, teaching the steps and calling out moves. It's great fun for all ages.Unlike some other social dances, contra is a group activity. Over the course of each dance, you interact with everyone in your contra line. Your partner is like a teammate, moving with you up and down the line.
